LMS 97

LMS 97 is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet, designed for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Ural, and Volga regions. The variety is characterized by a technologically efficient root shape and a medium vegetation period of 140-145 days, which ensures optimal conditions for obtaining a high yield.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to main pathogens, such as root rot and powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to cercosporosis and ramularia. Drought resistance is high, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Root mass reaches about 700 grams, contributing to high yield — up to 95 tons per hectare, while sugar content varies from 16.8% to 21%, providing quality raw material for the sugar industry.

LMS 97 is suitable for agricultural use and sugar factory launch due to its high sugar content and stable yield. This hybrid ensures effective sugar production, combining disease resistance, adaptability to climatic conditions, and high technological indicators of root crops.
