Description BTS 1730
BTS 1730 — high-yielding hybrid sugar beet of the new generation, featuring high resistance to major diseases such as anthracnose, fusarium, rust, and powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to cercospora. This hybrid belongs to the normal type and is intended for obtaining a stable and high-quality yield with high sugar content in roots.

Sugar beet BTS 1730 is a two-year root crop of the Chenopodiaceae family, propagated by seeds. The plant is cold-tolerant and light-loving, with moderate soil fertility requirements. Under proper care, the hybrid demonstrates high productivity even on moderately saline soils. To improve yield, half-rotted fertilizers are recommended, as fresh manure reduces the market quality of root crops.

During its growth, BTS 1730 requires increasing moisture, but excessive moisture before harvest may cause root spoilage and reduce sugar content. Due to its adaptability and disease resistance, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
