ANCHOR — a unique medium-early sweet corn variety originating from North America. Plants reach a height of 1.5 to 2 meters and feature vigorous growth with 10-17 leaves. Ears are large, round-cylindrical or weakly conical, up to 20 cm long, with 12-18 rows of kernels. Kernels are light orange, tender, and very sweet, ensuring exceptional taste qualities both raw and cooked. The ANCHOR variety is distinguished by high yield, reaching 67-123 centners of clean, conditionally sound ears per hectare. 2-3 ears form on one plant, significantly increasing the total harvest. Due to resistance to blister rust and the ability to withstand cold climatic conditions with a short growing period, the variety is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including cold areas. Maturation time is about 70-80 days for sweet corn and up to 105-110 days to full maturity. ANCHOR is recommended for fresh consumption, cooking, canning, and freezing.
