SAG 2014

The 'SAG 2014' mustard variety is a high-efficiency crop designed for producing oilseeds and feed. The plant reaches a medium height of about 62 cm, has green, undivided leaves, and bright yellow flowers, with seeds colored in a yellow-brown shade.

The vegetative period lasts 325–330 days, and the variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, shattering, drought, as well as crucifer pests. Thanks to these properties, 'SAG 2014' is easily grown in a mechanized mode, making it attractive to modern agro-enterprises.

Seed yield at standard moisture content ranges from 8.1 to 12.4 centners per hectare, and fat content in seeds reaches 43.1–48%. The oil contains 1.63% erucic acid and 22.7 µmol/g glucosinolates in the meal. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 1.1 to 1.4 g. These indicators make the 'SAG 2014' variety one of the most productive and in-demand for producing quality oil and feed.
