Wheat variety KWS is a high-yielding hybrid developed for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including drought-prone areas. This variety is characterized by stable yield, winter hardiness, and resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, ensuring reliable harvest even under adverse weather conditions. Plant height reaches approximately 130 cm, and thousand-grain weight is about 5 grams, indicating good seed quality.
A key feature of the KWS variety is its high pollen production, enabled by the PollenPLUS® technology, which enhances pollination and, consequently, increases yield. Spikes of this variety are at medium to high levels, which also positively affects the overall grain volume. KWS wheat has Class A quality, confirming its high protein content and other technological characteristics.
KWS wheat seeds are suitable for sowing in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe, with the possibility of early, optimal, and late sowing. This variety is widely used both for producing grain for the food industry and for feed purposes. Additionally, the new KWS selection is specifically developed for growing silage with high protein content comparable to leguminous crops, making it especially valuable for livestock farming.
