KRASNOYARSK UNIVERSAL

KRASNOYARSK UNIVERSAL is a winter rye variety developed with the participation of varieties Mininskaya, Yeniseika, Kortkostebel'nyaya 69 and genotypes with low water-soluble pentosan content. This variety is characterized by late maturity, high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as resistance to lodging, which ensures crop stability under various climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 24 to 56 grams, and plant height ranges from 104 to 157 cm depending on the growing region. Reduced water-soluble pentosan content (0.5-0.8%) in the grain improves raw material quality compared to standard varieties, which positively affects baking properties.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central region of Russia, including Bryansk, Ivanovo and Kaluga regions, where average yield reaches 40.7 c/ha, and maximum — 66.2 c/ha. High yield and resistance to adverse factors make KRASNOYARSK UNIVERSAL an attractive choice for agricultural producers seeking high-quality grain with good technological characteristics.

Studies conducted on experimental fields of Krasnoyarsk NIISKh confirmed the high productivity and adaptability of the variety.
