Soil Requirements and Planting

This variety thrives in well-drained, humus-rich loamy soils with a pH level of 6.0–6.5. Proper drainage is non-negotiable, as root rot is a significant risk in waterlogged conditions. Planting should occur in early spring once soil temperatures reach +10°C, or in early autumn, allowing at least 4–6 weeks for root establishment before the first frost.
