Rose Medea

The Medea rose is a tea-hybrid variety intended for growing in protected conditions and producing cut flower products. The bushes are upright, reaching heights of 50 to 100 cm, with a moderate number of reddish claw-like thorns. Leaves of medium size with an anthocyanin tint add decorative appeal to the plant. The flowers are semi-double, about 5-6 cm in diameter, irregularly round in shape, with a large number of petal-shaped petals of bright purple-red color. The aroma of the flowers is weak. The Medea rose is distinguished by high cut flower productivity — up to 160 flowers per square meter per year, while the flowers maintain freshness in cut form for 14-16 days. The variety has strong resistance to diseases and medium resistance to pests, as well as medium heat and drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Saplings are supplied in a closed root system, which facilitates planting and plant establishment. The Medea variety has repeat and abundant flowering, allowing one to enjoy beautiful flowers for a long time. Due to its characteristics and decorative qualities, this rose is an excellent choice for both professional cut flower production and decorative greening.
