The "Valentina Leningradskaya" rose is a tea-hybrid cutting variety with an open, spreading bush reaching heights of 95 to 120 cm. The canes are large and highly branched, giving the plant volume and an attractive appearance. The leaves are glossy, dark green, with small thorns located mainly on the middle part of the canes. This variety is suitable for growing in greenhouses and on home garden plots, preferring sunny locations with the possibility of light shading. The flowers of "Valentina Leningradskaya" are large, about 12 cm in diameter, double, consisting of 56-62 petals. They have a diverse coloration: from cream with a delicate pink edge to bright red and yellow-pink-raspberry, with an elongated center and an irregular round shape. The flowers are solitary or form clusters, having a weak or absent fragrance. Bud opening occurs slowly, but flowering is very abundant and practically continuous throughout the summer, making the variety especially valuable for cutting. The variety has medium heat and drought tolerance, as well as high winter hardiness. Flowering canes reach a length of 60-80 cm, which ensures convenience for cutting. The cutting yield is from 140 to 180 flowers per square meter per year, and the longevity of cut flowers in water reaches 10-12 days. The "Valentina Leningradskaya" rose is resistant to powdery mildew and rust, which facilitates care and enhances the plant's decorative qualities.
