Description Ussurochka
The 'Ussurochka' rose variety was bred in 2005 at the Botanical Garden-Institute of FEB RAS as a result of a bud mutation from the 'Eulalia Berridge' variety. Bushes of this variety reach a height of 50-70 cm, have an open growth habit, and feature dense foliage with small, glossy leaves and fringed stipules. Thorns on the plant are small, rare, and deeply recessed, which facilitates care for the bush. The flowers are medium-sized, with a diameter of 3.5-5.5 cm, double and cup-shaped, gathered in dense inflorescences consisting of 15-57 flowers. A feature of the variety is the unique color change of the flowers: starting from a white bud, the flower is initially white, then the petals acquire a pinkish tint, and later become bright raspberry.

Blooming for 'Ussurochka' is abundant and prolonged, starting in the first decade of July and continuing until late autumn. Bud opening occurs slowly, which allows enjoying the plant's decorative qualities for a long time. The rose has a medium aroma, which adds to its appeal in landscape compositions. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, including frosts and drought, as well as to pests and fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and black spot. Heat resistance is average.

'Ussurochka' is versatile in application: it grows and blooms well both in open ground on its own roots and as a grafted culture. The rose is suitable for greening, creating landscape compositions, as well as for growing in outdoor pots. In addition, the variety can be kept in indoor conditions and greenhouses, providing wintering under an air-dry cover. Thanks to its high decorative qualities and resistance, 'Ussurochka' is an excellent choice for gardeners and landscape designers.
