Description SCH 73042
The SCH 73042 rose cultivar features an upright bush growing to about 60 cm in height, making it easy to grow and cut. Young shoots display a medium-intensity anthocyanin coloration, while thorns are reddish in color and of medium quantity. Leaves are oval, large, green, and glossy with a slight wavy edge and rounded tip, giving the plant a neat and attractive appearance.

The rose blooms are double-flowered, irregularly round in shape, with a diameter ranging from 9.5 to 10 cm. Petals have a transverse-elliptical shape with very weak incision, medium to strong edge curl, and slight waviness. The primary color of the inner side of the petals is purple-red with a small cream spot at the base. The blooms have little to no scent, which can be an advantage for those who prefer less intense fragrances.

The first bloom occurs approximately 10 weeks after planting, with subsequent blooms every 6-7 weeks, ensuring moderate to abundant flowering. The cultivar is resistant to powdery mildew and botrytis, significantly easing care and enhancing the plant's decorative and cutting qualities. Due to these characteristics, the SCH 73042 rose is recommended for cutting production.
