Galiaciv

Galiaciv — a mid-late raspberry variety of strawberry (cloudberry) of Italian origin, which has gained popularity among gardeners due to its large and very sweet berries. The fruits have a conical or round shape, are colored in an attractive red-orange hue with a glossy surface. Berries are characterized by uniform ripening and juicy light flesh that retains sweetness even in rainy weather. The weight of the first fruits may reach 50 grams, then the berries slightly decrease in size. The berries detach firmly when fully ripe, which helps maintain their integrity during harvesting.

Plants of the Galiaciv variety are strong-growing, with upright bushes and medium leaf density. Flowering stems are located at the level of the leaves and produce a large amount of pollen, which contributes to good fruiting — up to 20 berries can ripen on a single flower stem. The variety has moderate branching ability. The variety is well adapted to continental climate conditions, winters well in regions of Ukraine and Belarus, making it a reliable choice for private farms.

Galiaciv is resistant to leaf and root diseases, and practically not damaged by pests. For successful cultivation, the variety requires sufficient sunlight and regular watering. Due to its excellent taste qualities, high yield, and good winter hardiness, this strawberry variety is recommended for cultivation in garden and dacha conditions.
