Professional Choice for Open-Field Production

The «Krasa Podmoskovya» strawberry variety, developed by Galina Fedorovna Govorova, is engineered for commercial farming operations prioritizing yield consistency and plant resilience. Designed specifically for open-field cultivation, this variety excels in diverse environmental conditions.

Operational Advantages for Farmers

• Extended Harvest Window: The prolonged bearing period allows for better logistics management, smoothing out labor demands during the harvesting season and ensuring a steady supply for the fresh market.
• Environmental Resilience: With a cold tolerance of down to -25°C, the variety minimizes winterkill risks, while its inherent drought tolerance provides a safeguard against summer heat stress, reducing the need for constant high-intensity irrigation.
• Industrial Suitability: Boasting an yield potential exceeding 2 kg per plant, this variety is highly viable for large-scale production. Its pink berries are characterized by both aesthetic appeal and physical durability, essential for long-distance transport.

«Krasa Podmoskovya» is a versatile variety that combines high productivity with a robust disease-resistance profile. By reducing the frequency of fungicide applications, growers can lower production costs and simplify their integrated pest management strategy. Whether destined for wholesale or retail, the consistent quality of the fruit makes it a reliable asset for any berry operation.
