Description Karaidel
Mid-late maturing variety, developed at Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture by crossing the varieties Pamyat Michurina and Kompatnaya. Breeders: M.G. Abdeeva, N.G. Abdyukova. Since 2001, included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the Ural Region.

Medium-height, slightly spreading bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, woody parts light brown, slightly hairy. Buds of medium size, pinkish, elongated, tapering to the tip, slightly deviated from the shoot.

Three-lobed leaf, medium size, dark green. Leaf blade slightly hairy, matte, loose, wrinkled, slightly convex. Leaf tip sharp, angle formed by lobes nearly straight. Leaf base straight with small notch. Leaf petioles long, medium thickness, green, reddish at base, slightly pressed against the shoot.

Flowers large, bright pink, bell-shaped. Sepals medium, with medium hair on outer side, curved upward. Inflorescences medium, sometimes long, 5-6 cm, up to 8 berries, medium density. Inflorescence axis medium, straight, green.

Berries large (1.4-2.4 g), sour-sweet (4.8 points), with medium seed count. Berry stem medium, green, fleshy, slightly hairy, calyx half-open. Chemical composition: dry matter — 21.7%, total sugars — 10.8%, titratable acidity — 2.2%, ascorbic acid — 192.0 mg/100 g, pectin substances — 1.1%.

Highly winter-hardy, average yield 12.3 t/ha, good self-fertility, weakly affected by fungal diseases, drought-resistant.

Advantages of the variety: compact bush shape, large and tasty berries.

Disadvantages of the variety: tendency to self-thickening.
