Strawberry Charovnitsa

Stability and Aesthetics: Why Professionals Choose “Charovnitsa”

The “Charovnitsa” strawberry (Fragaria) from Agrofirma Poisk is the choice for growers who prioritize a balance between market appearance and low maintenance. Unlike many temperamental varieties that require precise irrigation control, this variety demonstrates remarkable drought resistance, making it a strategic asset for farms operating in climates with unpredictable rainfall.

Key Advantages

• Industrial Potential: This variety has proven its effectiveness in commercial farming. Due to its high adaptability, it performs consistently well in both protected ground (greenhouses) and open fields.
• Stress Resistance: High frost tolerance (down to -25°C) eliminates many concerns regarding winter protection in northern and temperate regions.
• Plant Health: Developed by breeders Nikolay Klimenko and Sergey Maksimov, the variety features strong disease resistance, which helps reduce the need for fungicide treatments and lowers overall production costs.

Specifications and Use

The “Charovnitsa” berry features an attractive pink color and a consistent conical shape. With an individual fruit weight of 10–15 grams and a stable yield of 1.2–1.5 kg per sq. m, it is a truly versatile “workhorse” variety. The berries are firm, making them ideal for the fresh market, as well as for various culinary applications.

Who is “Charovnitsa” for? It is the optimal solution for commercial growers who prefer reliability over risky novelties, and for home gardeners who want a predictable, tasty harvest without daily manual intervention.
