Late-ripening variety, obtained at the branch of VIR "Polar Experimental Station" from crossing varieties Kandalaksha and Desert White. Breeders: S.D. El'sakova, T.V. Romanova. Included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Northern region since 2007.
Weakly vigorous, medium-spreading bush. Stems thin, straight, with medium anthocyanin coloration, slightly hairy, matte. Buds medium-sized, round, slightly hairy.
Leaves medium-sized, green. Leaf blade upper surface smooth, light, slightly hairy, leathery, smooth, sinuously curved. Teeth acute, short, not bent. Leaf base triangular with small notch. Leaf three- to five-lobed with small notches, leaf tips broad and acute. Angle between central veins of side lobes nearly straight. Petiole short, medium-sized, green with weak anthocyanin coloration, slightly hairy.
Flowers large, pale-colored. Ovary smooth, round without ridges. Sepals medium-sized, slightly hairy. Inflorescences medium-sized, berry arrangement in inflorescences medium. Inflorescence axis very thin, straight, hairy.
Berries medium and small (0.4–0.7 g), round, one-dimensional, light-red coloration, thin skin. Berries have pleasant, delicate, sour-sweet taste, no aroma, rating 4.9 points. Pedicel short, brown, thin. Calyx half-open, small. Chemical composition: total sugar content — 6.2%, titratable acidity — 2.6%, ascorbic acid — 81.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy variety, high self-fertility (54–70%). Mature berries do not drop. High-yielding, average multi-year yield 11.2 t/ha (3.2 kg/plant). Slightly damaged by diseases and pests.
Advantages of the variety: winter-hardiness, good taste of berries.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
