BARYONYA

The strawberry "BARYONYA" is a garden strawberry obtained through intergeneric hybridization of large-fruited garden strawberries with European musk strawberries. This self-fertile hybrid is characterized by a tall bush with a powerful root system and light green trifoliate leaves. The berries are large, weighing from 12 to 25 grams, dark red with a cherry hue, often having a flat-round or ribbed elongated shape. The first berry is usually the largest and gребневидная (crenated). The fruit flavor is sweet-musked with spicy notes, the flesh is dense, juicy, and dark red, making the berries an excellent choice both for fresh consumption and for freezing or drying.

The "BARYONYA" variety is distinguished by its early maturation and high yield. The plant forms numerous flower stalks—up to 20-25 pieces, which contributes to abundant flowering and fruiting. The strawberry is drought-resistant and disease-resistant, possesses good winter hardiness, especially in the presence of snow cover, which allows growing it under various climatic conditions, including Moscow Region, without the need for winter shelter.

For successful cultivation of "BARYONYA", it is recommended to observe certain agrotechnical techniques: planting should be done with a sparse interval of 30x40 cm or 40 cm between plants in a row, ensure regular but moderate watering, as well as fertilization with nitrogen and complex fertilizers. Pruning of runners and removal of old leaves is also important to maintain the health of the bush and increase yield.
