The 'Polesie' raspberry variety is a remontant Polish selection, characterized by high yield and a long fruiting period, lasting from late July to early October. Medium-height bushes reach 1 to 1.6 meters, with straight, strong, and thornless canes that require mandatory support. This variety is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including all climate zones of Ukraine, and exhibits high frost resistance and disease and drought tolerance.
The 'Polesie' raspberry berries are large, weighing 6–10 grams, with a round-conical shape and bright red or dark red color when fully ripe. They have a pleasant sweet-tart flavor, juicy and aromatic, making them attractive for both personal consumption and commercial cultivation. High transportability and good storage quality of the berries allow this variety to be used in industrial production and marketing.
The average yield of an adult bush reaches 4–4.5 kg per season, making 'Polesie' one of the most productive remontant raspberry varieties. Due to its low maintenance requirements, resilience to adverse conditions, and high fruit quality, 'Polesie' raspberry enjoys deserved popularity among gardeners and farmers.
