Raspberry FOR HEALTH

Stable Yields in Challenging Climates

The «ЗА Здравие» (ZA Zdravie) raspberry variety from the manufacturer FANCA is a breeding breakthrough for those who prioritize reliability and plant immunity. With French roots (originator Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere, France), this variety is adapted for temperate climates and demonstrates exceptional resistance to the primary pathogens that plague berry crops.

Key Advantages

• Comprehensive Immunity: The variety is practically immune to didymella (spur blight), gray mold, and anthracnose. This significantly reduces the need for fungicide treatments, resulting in a cleaner, more eco-friendly berry.
• Pest Resistance: The raspberry mite — a major threat to commercial plantations — tends to avoid «ЗА Здравие» due to the specific structure of its leaves and the plant’s metabolism.
• Robustness: High winter hardiness ensures that the crop can be grown in regions with harsh winters without the risk of root system damage.

Characteristics and Yield

«ЗА Здравие» is a mid-season variety. The berries feature a classic conical shape and an attractive red color. Fruit weight ranges from 2 to 5 grams, making them an ideal size for dessert-quality fruit. The flavor is intense, sweet, and dessert-like, making the variety highly sought after for both the fresh market and home processing.

Who Is This Variety For?

It is the perfect choice for growers looking for the right balance between yield and ease of maintenance. The variety requires moderate care, including timely irrigation, fertilization, and standard pruning. It is forgiving for beginners, yet its full potential is easily realized by experienced farmers. If you need a variety that doesn't require constant medical attention throughout the season, «ЗА Здравие» is a logical choice for establishing your orchard.
