LG 5634

Sunflower LG 5634 is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by the French company Limagrain and designed for cultivation using Clearfield® technology. This hybrid exhibits high resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lightning and can ensure stable seed yields of up to 50 centners per hectare even under high risk of infection by various strains of downy mildew (A, B, C, D, E). Seeds are treated with a fungicidal protectant, which helps protect plants from major diseases and improves germination.

LG 5634 plants are medium-height, reaching approximately 155 cm, and characterized by active vegetative growth and a well-developed root system in early vegetative stages. The flower head diameter is approximately 16.8 cm, with a convex shape. The 1000-seed weight is 72 grams, and oil content reaches 48-50%, ensuring high oil production efficiency. The hybrid demonstrates high drought resistance (9 out of 10), lodging resistance, and resistance to various diseases, including white mold, black mold, dry rot, false powdery mildew, fomosis, and fomopsis.

LG 5634 exhibits excellent tolerance to diverse growing conditions and is recommended for use across all regions of Ukraine with intensive cultivation technologies. The vegetative period ranges from 106 to 115 days, enabling the hybrid to successfully adapt to mid-early maturity.
