Rapeseed RGT FERUZZI

Agronomic Profile and Field Performance

The French breeding program RAGT Seeds introduced the "RGT FERUZZI" hybrid in 2025, specifically designed for intensive cultivation systems. A key feature of this rapeseed is its ability to maximize the autumn vegetation period. Thanks to high germination energy, the hybrid rapidly develops a robust root system and rosette, which is critical for successful overwintering in unstable climatic conditions.

Stress and Pathogen Resistance

In field conditions, "RGT FERUZZI" demonstrates high adaptability to adverse factors:

• Phytosanitary Protection: Genetically determined resistance to phoma minimizes the risk of yield loss from fungal infections, allowing for a reduction in fungicide application.
• Mechanical Strength: High lodging resistance ensures stem stability even under excessive moisture or strong winds, facilitating the harvesting process and reducing seed loss.
• Drought Tolerance: The medium-early maturity allows the hybrid to avoid peak summer temperatures, preserving moisture for grain filling.

The high oil content potential makes this hybrid economically attractive for farms focused on high-quality raw materials. Stable autumn development and reliable winter hardiness make "RGT FERUZZI" a recommended choice for all major agro-climatic zones where a combination of intensive growth and high stress tolerance is required.
