HILLICO

HILLICO rapeseed is a mid-early winter hybrid selection by KWS, with a high yield potential up to 60 t/ha. This hybrid is characterized by intensive branching and adaptability to medium and late sowing dates, enabling stable yields even under challenging climatic conditions. The recommended planting density is 400–500 thousand plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum productivity.

One of the key features of HILLICO is its high resistance to pod cracking, which significantly reduces yield losses during maturation. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation across various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. HILLICO also demonstrates resistance to major rapeseed diseases such as phoma (with RLM7 gene), white spot, alternaria, and verticillium, contributing to crop health and productivity.

HILLICO rapeseed seeds are treated with the product MODESTO, providing additional protection for plants during early growth stages. The hybrid has a high oil content (44.89%) and low glucosinolate levels (1.21%), positively affecting the quality of the final product.
