Rapeseed Damiir

Stability and Adaptability of Ukrainian Breeding

The "Damir" rapeseed variety is the result of many years of work by the Prykarpattia State Agricultural Research Station of the NAAS. In the Ukrainian agricultural sector, this variety has established itself as a reliable tool for producers focused on stable yields in temperate continental climates. As a simple linear variety, "Damir" offers predictable crop development, which is critical for planning technical processes and plant protection systems.

Agronomic Potential and Oil Content

A key indicator of "Damir's" economic efficiency is its oil content, which ranges between 40–45%. This parameter makes the variety sought after by processing companies interested in high-quality raw materials for biodiesel and edible oil production. The linear nature of the variety allows farmers to use the harvested crop for subsequent sowing within their own farms, reducing production costs compared to expensive imported hybrids.

Why Choose "Damir" Today

• High adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine.
• Stable oil accumulation, ensuring market liquidity.
• An optimal combination of biological resilience and yield potential.

The use of this variety is justified in fields where a balance between seed costs and overall profitability is required. "Damir" remains a classic example of quality domestic breeding, which continues to compete with international developments due to its plasticity and low-maintenance requirements in production conditions.
