Cromat

Rapeseed Cromat — this is a mid-late classic hybrid selection by Lembke, intended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It features intensive autumn growth and high winter hardiness, rated at 8 points, ensuring reliable winter survival even under adverse climatic conditions. The hybrid has a yield potential of up to 50 centners per hectare and is suitable for mid-late sowing dates, allowing optimal agronomic practices to be tailored to specific regional climatic conditions.

Cromat is characterized by high resistance to cruciferous clubroot, as well as diseases such as fusarium (with the Rlm7 resistance gene), verticillium, and turnip yellow virus (TuYV). Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and pod cracking, which significantly reduces yield losses and enhances seed quality. Early vegetative recovery and prolonged flowering contribute to stable yield formation even under variable weather conditions.

For sowing, the recommended seeding rate is 450–500 thousand seeds per hectare for optimal dates and 500–550 thousand for late dates. The seed packaging contains 1.5 million seeds, which is convenient for large-scale agricultural production. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, rapeseed Cromat is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields of quality winter rapeseed.
