Belana

Winter rape Belana is a high-oil hybrid developed by the company "Bayer" and registered in several European countries, including Ukraine. This mid-early hybrid is characterized by early flowering and uniform ripening, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield. Plant height reaches 155-165 cm, and pod length is 6-7 cm, which promotes effective seed formation and high oil content.

Belana has high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions, including minimal tillage (No-till). The hybrid is resilient to weather conditions and soil agrofond, making it suitable for all rapeseed-growing zones in Ukraine. It demonstrates good winter hardiness (level 7), lodging resistance (level 7), and moderate drought tolerance, enhancing the reliability of crops under various climatic conditions.

One of the key advantages of Belana is its high oil content in seeds and very low glucosinolate levels, which improves product quality. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to phomopsis (level 6), reducing disease risks and yield losses. Yield potential is 45-55 c/ha, making Belana a profitable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality rapeseed harvest.
