Radish Lybid

Stable yields in a tight schedule

Radish "Lybid" is a choice for those accustomed to working with predictable outcomes. Developed by the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine, this cultivar efficiently utilizes spring and autumn temperature windows. For an agronomist, this means no need to adjust for complex climatic conditions: 20–25 days from germination to marketability allow for conveyor-belt production without excessive labor.

Operation and Maintenance

• Planting: The variety shows excellent germination energy. When sown in spring, "Lybid" does not require additional soil heating, quickly adapting to a cool start of the season.
• Crop Maintenance: The culture is undemanding regarding soil structure but responds well to regular irrigation. It is crucial to maintain moisture, as dry soil causes the root crop to lose juiciness and develop bitterness.
• Replenishment capability: Due to the short ripening cycle, in case of early-stage failure (e.g., due to pests), you have the opportunity to re-sow without losing the pace of your annual production plan.

Cycle Economics

Using this variety minimizes the «freezing» of working capital. You do not hold land under the crop for long, freeing it for subsequent vegetable groups in just three weeks. "Lybid" is a professional tool for rapid land turnover, consistently delivering a high-quality root crop that is resistant to bolting when sowing dates are followed correctly.
