Red radish variety "Rainbow" is a specially selected mixture of early and mid-season varieties, with maturation periods ranging from 20 to 40 days. The roots mature sequentially, allowing for extended harvest periods and efficient use of planting area. All fruits have a round shape and weigh about 20-25 grams, with thin skin and white, firm flesh that is tender, juicy, and crisp. The variety of root colors — red, yellow, white, pink, and dark purple — adds vibrancy and originality to dishes, making seasonal salads a true table decoration.
The "Rainbow" radish mixture is characterized by high yield, excellent taste and market qualities, as well as resistance to bolting and wilting. The plants are easy to grow and resistant to pests, simplifying care and enhancing crop quality. Seeds are sown in open or protected ground at a rate of 3-5 grams per square meter, sown at a depth of 2.0-2.5 cm. The optimal row spacing is 15 cm, and the spacing between plants within a row is about 3 cm.
Radish germinates well at temperatures from +2 to +4°C, and at optimal temperature +15°C, seedlings emerge within 3-5 days. Young plants can withstand frosts down to -3 to -4°C. For successful cultivation, loose, sufficiently moist soil rich in organic matter, with slightly acidic or neutral pH, is recommended. Insufficient moisture slows growth, and roots may develop a bitter taste and become woody.
