Description APORT
The Aport pumpkin variety is mid-season and is characterized by a compact bush type of plant with a short main vine. The fruits have an oval or round shape, reach a mass of 4 to 7 kilograms and have a bright orange skin without a pattern. The rind of the fruits is thin and leathery, which facilitates their processing and use.

Aport pumpkin flesh differs in rich carrot or yellow color, juicy and crunchy medium-thickness structure. The taste of the fruits is sweet with creamy notes, which makes this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption and culinary purposes. High taste qualities and juiciness of the flesh ensure the versatility of pumpkin application in various dishes.

Growing the variety is possible both by the seedling method and by direct sowing in the ground. Sowing for seedlings is recommended to be carried out in April with subsequent planting in the ground in May–June, and direct sowing in the ground—in late May–June. The plant responds well to the addition of organic fertilizers, which contributes to increased yield, which is about 13.4 kg per square meter. The recommended planting scheme varies from 60x60 to 100x100 cm, which allows optimal use of the area and ensures good plant growth.
