Originator — "Selgen, a.s.", Czech Republic. Variety — lutescent. According to ripening group — mid-late maturing variety. Biological traits: strong type variety with medium stem height (90-95 cm), moderate tillering, resistant to germination and shattering of grains in ears, drought-resistant, high winter hardiness. Grain quality: belongs to strong wheat varieties, category "A", possesses high milling and baking properties, protein content — 13.6-14.1%, gluten — 24.2-26.5%, IDK — 100-110. Agronomic traits: the variety shows very stable yields under different climatic conditions. Potential yield — 80-85 cwt/ha. Over the last two years, yields obtained under various conditions — 60-80 cwt/ha. Recommended agronomy: Recommended for growing in agro-technical regions specializing in sugar beet cultivation. Sowing: Not demanding on preceding crops, can be sown after cereal crops. The variety develops rapidly at the beginning of vegetation, making it suitable for late sowing. Possible sowing after late preceding crops: corn, sugar beet. Sowing rate depending on timing — 4.0-5.0 million seeds/ha, in very late sowing — 5.5 million seeds/ha. Chemical protection: Double fungicide application is recommended, especially under high intensity of leaf diseases. When grown after cereal crops, protection against stem disease complex is required. The variety is moderately resistant to lodging, so under intensive cultivation, growth regulators should be applied to strengthen stem strength, at rate — 1.5-2.5 L/ha. Fertilization: adapted to medium nitrogen levels, recommended to fertilize in late stages. Considering nitrogen content in soil, total amount of nitrogenous fertilizers should not be lower than the norm — 110 kg/ha of active ingredient.
