Potato EURORESA

German breeding for global agriculture

The 'Euroreza' potato variety is the result of extensive breeding programs conducted by EUROPLANT Pflanzenzucht GmbH. This German hybrid was officially included in the State Register of Plant Varieties suitable for cultivation in Ukraine in 2026. The introduction of 'Euroreza' to the market reflects the ongoing demand for high-yielding varieties capable of thriving under the changing climatic conditions of Eastern Europe.

Genetic potential and registration

The development of this variety took place in German research facilities, where the focus was placed on pathogen resistance and yield stability. The official registration process in Ukraine in 2026 confirmed that 'Euroreza' meets the rigorous quality standards required for seed material. As the owner of the variety, EUROPLANT maintains strict control over the genetic integrity of the crop, ensuring predictable vegetation cycles and excellent tuber quality.

Market positioning

Among comparable European varieties, 'Euroreza' stands out for its balanced combination of storability and culinary properties. Its German heritage provides high adaptability to various soil types, making it a versatile choice for both small-scale farms and large industrial enterprises. Its 2026 registration marks it as one of the most modern tools available for upgrading the seed stock of Ukrainian potato producers.
