Sunflower Leto is an annual decorative plant from the Asteraceae family, reaching a height of 100-120 cm. It is distinguished by the diverse coloration of its inflorescences, which have a diameter of 10 to 20 cm and can be simple or semi-double. Flowering occurs from July to September, allowing for long enjoyment of bright and striking flowers in the garden.
The plant is heat-loving and light-loving, and possesses high drought resistance, making it ideal for growing on sunny areas with fertile loose soil. Leto sunflower seeds are sown directly into the open ground in April-May, following a 30 x 40 cm scheme and burying the seeds 2-5 cm deep. Seedlings are capable of withstanding frosts down to -6°C, which expands the possibilities for its cultivation.
