Sunflower Leto is an annual decorative plant from the Asteraceae family, reaching a height of 100-120 cm. It is distinguished by the diverse coloration of its inflorescences, which have a diameter of 10 to 20 cm and can be simple or semi-double. Flowering occurs from July to September, allowing for long enjoyment of bright and striking flowers in the garden.
The plant is heat-loving and light-loving, and possesses high drought resistance, making it ideal for growing on sunny areas with fertile loose soil. Leto sunflower seeds are sown directly into the open ground in April-May, following a 30 x 40 cm scheme and burying the seeds 2-5 cm deep. Seedlings are capable of withstanding frosts down to -6°C, which expands the possibilities for its cultivation.
Sunflower Leto is widely used in ornamental gardening: it is planted in groups, rabatkas, along walls and fences, as well as in separate compositions. Thanks to its beauty and variety of shades, the plant is excellent for creating bouquets in large vases and dried flower arrangements. This sunflower will become a bright accent in any garden corner and excellent material for floristic solutions.
