Sunflower KRAASAVCHIK

Consistent Performance for Standard Field Conditions

The Krasavchik sunflower variety, developed by the Kuban Experimental Station, is a reliable choice for farms aiming for consistent yield results without the need for complex, high-input intensive technologies. If your agricultural strategy focuses on stable production under standard field conditions, this variety provides a proven biological foundation for your crop rotation.

Field Characteristics and Harvest Management

The plants reach a height of 150–200 cm, which is an ideal range for mechanized harvesting. The large head size ensures good seed fill, translating into high-quality grain at the scale. The uniformity of the crop allows for smooth operation of combine headers, significantly reducing post-harvest losses and simplifying logistics during the harvest window.

Practical Applications

• Extensive Farming Suitability: The variety exhibits high plasticity, successfully adapting to various soil and climate conditions without requiring intensive fungicide or complex herbicide programs.
• Resource Efficiency: The vigorous growth of the plant helps to outcompete weeds in the early stages, effectively reducing the need for multiple herbicide interventions.
• Harvest Optimization: Uniform stalk height ensures that harvesting machinery maintains a consistent speed, eliminating the need for frequent equipment recalibration during the harvest process.

Choosing Krasavchik means relying on a well-tested breeding effort that balances cost-effectiveness with consistent yield in the bin. It is the practical choice for producers looking for a trouble-free crop that performs predictably throughout the entire vegetation cycle.
