Sunflower variety ICAR is an annual plant with a stem height of up to 1-1.3 meters. The flowers are large, 10-12 cm in diameter, yellow with a dark center. Seeds are sown in April-May directly into open ground; seedlings appear within 6-11 days at a temperature of 15-21°C. The plant thrives on open, well-lit areas with fertile soil, making it suitable for group plantings, flower beds, rabatok, flower gardens, and cutting.
To increase yield and health of the sunflower, the use of a unique liquid fertilizer formula containing boron in the form of ethanolamine at the maximum accessible concentration is recommended. The solution contains 5% nitrogen and 17% boron by mass, has a density of 1.415 g/ml at 20°C and a pH of 8.3-8.7 when diluted 1:10 in water. This fertilizer is quickly absorbed by plants, improves the mobility and assimilation of calcium, promotes cell division and strengthens cell walls.
Application of this fertilizer helps prevent diseases caused by boron deficiency, does not dry out leaf surfaces, and improves the overall condition of plants. It is especially effective for feeding the sunflower before flowering, ensuring a higher yield and greater resilience of the crop to unfavorable conditions.
