Hysun 204 sunflower hybrid is intended for oil production and is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 48-52%. This hybrid features good yield up to 3.5 tons per hectare and is suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Plants reach a height of 150-160 cm, providing optimal conditions for harvest formation. The hybrid was registered in 2014 and is produced by Advanta.

Hysun 204 exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, white mold, and various types of false powdery mildew. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to minimize yield losses due to infections. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates good resistance to lodging and shattering, which contributes to maintaining seed quality until harvest.

Hysun 204 seeds have dark-striped coloring and high oil content of approximately 21-22%, facilitating processing. The flower head diameter is 18-24 cm, and the 1000-seed mass is about 84 g, indicating the size and quality of planting material.
