Fiesta corn is a simple modified mid-early maturity hybrid for grain purposes, developed by Serbian breeding and registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2017. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and good adaptability to various growing conditions, making it popular in regions such as Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine. Plants are tall, reaching 240-250 cm in height, with ears positioned at 90-100 cm, and no bushiness.
Fiesta is characterized by drought and heat resistance, ensuring stable growth and high productivity even under adverse climatic conditions. The hybrid exhibits good resistance to major diseases and pests, as well as intensive grain moisture release, which contributes to efficient water use and improved grain quality. Potential grain yield reaches 14 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity.
The hybrid responds well to improved growing conditions, allowing its full potential to be realized when modern agronomic technologies are applied. Thanks to its combination of stress resistance and high yield, Fiesta corn is a reliable choice for grain production in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine.
