Hysun 159 IT

Hysun 159 IT sunflower is a medium-early linoleic hybrid developed using Clearfield (IMI) technology, providing herbicide resistance and effective weed control. Maturation period is 107-115 days, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppes, forest-steppe, and lowland areas. Recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45 to 55 thousand seeds per hectare, promoting optimal plant development and maximum yield.

The hybrid has high yield potential, reaching up to 55 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — up to 50%. The seed basket diameter is 16-19 cm, facilitating good seed formation and harvesting. Hysun 159 IT has genetic resistance to race A-G of downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss due to this parasite.
