FREGATE CL

FREGATE CL is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid intended for oil production and cultivation using Clearfield and Clearfield Plus technologies. The plants of this hybrid are tall, non-branching, with medium-sized dark green leaves and weakly reticulated surfaces. Flowers have bright orange-yellow ligulate florets and yellow tubular florets without anthocyanin staining on the style. The flower head is medium-sized, downward-turned on a curved stem, with medium-sized, elongated, black seeds with weakly expressed gray marginal stripes. Seeds contain up to 51.5% oil, making the hybrid attractive for industrial oil production.

The FREGATE CL hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability. In the Lower Volga region, the average yield is about 20.2 c/ha, with a maximum reaching 39.2 c/ha. The plants are resistant to lodging and not prone to seed shattering, which facilitates harvest and improves crop quality. The hybrid tolerates drought, high temperatures, and climate fluctuations, and is also insensitive to soil type, ensuring stable yields across various agroclimatic zones.

Additionally, FREGATE CL exhibits resistance to herbicide application within the Clearfield system, allowing effective weed control using imidazolin herbicides. The hybrid is also tolerant to most common sunflower diseases, including alternaria, septoria, and rust. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable yields with minimal crop protection costs.
