Description Fundulea 225
Sunflower hybrid Fundulea 225 is a mid-early, high-oil variety with oil content in seeds reaching 50-52%. This hybrid was developed by the National Institute for Agricultural Research and Development Fundulea in Romania and is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Plant height reaches 170-180 cm, ensuring good resistance and optimal crop development. Seed density at harvest time is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in the forest-steppe zone and 50-55 thousand in the steppe zone.

Fundulea 225 exhibits high resistance to the parasitic weed A-E species of ragweed, as well as tolerance to false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The hybrid's yield potential ranges from 4.5 to 5.2 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking high productivity and product quality.

A distinctive feature of this hybrid is its compatibility with the EuroLighting technology, meaning resistance to herbicides based on imazapir and imazamox. This allows effective control of sunflower ragweed and weeds, particularly in regions with a high risk of infestation. Using Fundulea 225 seeds in combination with EuroLighting and EuroLighting Plus herbicides ensures reliable crop protection and contributes to stable high yields.
