The AR 1801 sunflower hybrid is a simple, modified mid-early maturing variety with a vegetation period of 105-108 days. It was developed using herbicide-tolerant technology based on tribenuron-methyl (Granstar/Express), providing effective control over a wide range of weeds. This hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy, which promotes rapid plant formation and soil protection from weeds, as well as simultaneous ripening and uniform seeding, simplifying harvest.
AR 1801 exhibits good resistance to common sunflower diseases, including stem lodging, and is characterized by low seed shattering during ripening, which reduces yield loss. The hybrid adapts well to fertile soils and intensive agronomic practices, making it versatile for cultivation under various climatic conditions.
The yield potential of AR 1801 is 46-48 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Seeds are supplied in bags of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on 2.2-2.5 hectares, and undergo fungicide treatment for additional protection. The hybrid is produced by LLC "Agro Rhythm" (Ukraine, Odessa region), with the originator being France.
