Sunflower AraKAR

Reliable Sunflower Hybrid from AF Flora

The «Arakar» sunflower hybrid, developed by the Ukrainian brand «AF Flora», stands out in the market as a high-performance solution for modern agricultural enterprises. Designed to meet the challenges of intensive farming, this hybrid combines excellent oil yield with robust genetic protection, making it a dependable choice for farmers looking for consistent productivity.

Agronomic Strengths

One of the primary benefits of Arakar is its strong natural defense system. It is specifically bred to withstand high infection pressure in fields, offering proven resistance to key pathogens such as Phomopsis, powdery mildew, and various types of rots (white and gray). This genetic resilience helps farmers optimize their chemical protection program throughout the growing season.

• Vegetation Period: 100–110 days, classifying it as a mid-early maturity hybrid.
• Oil Content: Consistently high, ranging from 50% to 55%.
• Morphology: Plant height of 170–180 cm, ensuring uniform growth and convenience during the harvesting process.

Integration with Herbicide Technology

Arakar is fully compatible with the «Euro-Lightning» herbicide system. This allows growers to effectively manage weed infestation—including broomrape—without damaging the crop. By applying this clear-field technology, farmers can maintain a clean, high-yielding crop, effectively controlling competitive weeds that would otherwise rob the sunflowers of vital nutrients and water.

The Arakar hybrid from AF Flora is a practical choice for those seeking a balance between high-quality output and manageable input costs. Its ability to adapt to varying soil conditions while maintaining steady yield parameters makes it a strong competitor in the Ukrainian seed market.
