The variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nursery from crossing Red Speedy x Green Renklod. Authors: H.K. Enikeev, S.N. Satarova. Introduced into the State Register since 2000.
Medium-sized tree. Round and compact crown, moderate density and leafiness. Shoots are brown and bare. Buds of medium size, located on strongly convex cushions, deviated from the shoots. Leaf blade oval, size (length x width) — 49.8 cm², green color, medium thickness, slightly wrinkled surface, no pubescence on top or bottom, double-toothed margin. Petiole of medium length, has glands. Petals of the flower are not closed, number of stamens 21, stigma level with stamens, ovary bare, calyx funnel-shaped. Pedicel of medium length, bare. Bears fruit and flowers on cluster branches and spurs.
Fruit round in shape, weighing 21 g, light green color, skin — red, more intense on the sun-exposed side, no pubescence, medium waxy coating. Apex and base of the fruit are round, basal pit small, ventral suture well developed. Fruit appearance is good. Flesh yellow, texture finely fibrous, medium firmness and juiciness. Sugar content and aroma of the flesh are moderate. Taste rating 4.2 points. Chemical composition of the skin and flesh: dry matter — 15.5%, free acids — 1.8%, sugars — 9.7%, ascorbic acid — 10.2 mg/100g. Pedicel length is medium. Fruit detaches from the pedicel dry. Transportability is medium. Horticultural use is universal. Pit is oval, weighing 1.4 g, pit mass percentage from fruit mass — 6.7.
Flowering period 13-20 May, ripening period 18-25 August. Age of fruiting onset 5 years, plant longevity 21 years. Self-sterile, moderate yield, fruiting not sharply periodic (out of the last 16 years, 6 were low-yield years). Average yield over the last 16 years was 10 kg/tree. Shoots and branches are moderately damaged by winter frosts. Flower buds are moderately damaged by winter frosts and spring freezes. Damage from diseases and pests is moderate — 2.5-3 points.
Suitable for commercial production, not suitable for intensive horticulture.
Advantages of the variety: good fruit quality and yield.
Disadvantages: some periodicity in fruiting, self-sterility, low winter hardiness.
