Phlox "Cloud" (Phlox (D)'Lilac Cloud') is a perennial groundcover variety, distinguished by its soft pink and lilac flowers that create an effect of a soft cloud against a background of bright green leaves. The plant reaches a height of about 10 cm, forming a dense carpet of small buds that gradually lighten after blooming, creating a smooth play of shades.
The variety grows excellently in sunny locations and on loose, poor, dry soils. It does not tolerate waterlogging but is distinguished by high winter hardiness and the ability to withstand frost. The blooming period begins in early summer (June) with a more vivid display, while a weak secondary blooming can be observed in September.
