Turmaline is a Phlox paniculata variety that forms a compact bush up to 80 cm high and about 25–30 cm wide. The leaves are dark green, dense, and give the plant a lush appearance. Inflorescences reach 25 × 20 cm, are oval-conical, and feature bright light-purple flowers with slightly wavy edges and a rich aroma.
Turmaline blooms from mid-July to September – for 35–38 days. The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade but grows best in loose, fertile soils with good moisture and without waterlogging. Thanks to its resistance to adverse conditions, diseases, and pests, Turmaline grows quickly and is easy to maintain.
Turmaline is a versatile decorative plant: its bright flowers do not fade in the sun, and its strong aroma makes the garden or alpine slope particularly pleasant. The compactness of the bush allows the plant to be used in small areas, while it attracts attention with its beauty and resistance to winter cold.
