GJEHL MAXI

Phlox "GjeHL Maxi" – a perennial variety of domestic breeding, developed by V.V. Korchagin and V.G. Borisova in 2012. It is distinguished by large flowers up to 5 cm in diameter and a compact bush reaching a height of about 70–100 cm during flowering. The flowers have a white base with light purple strokes and a bright ink-like eye, the inflorescences are round-conical and dense, creating an impressive appearance.

The variety grows excellently in fertile loamy soils that are moist but without water stagnation. It prefers bright partial shade, withstands moderate temperatures, and remains winter-hardy. To maintain plant health, it is necessary to annually add fertile substrate to the base of the bush to cover the renewal buds, as well as to carry out preventive fungicide treatments, since the plant is sensitive to fungal diseases. In autumn, shoots are cut back to a low level, which helps to prevent outbreaks of diseases in the following season.

"GjeHL Maxi" flowers from July to August, with a long and lush blooming period. Thanks to the large and brightly colored inflorescences, it becomes an excellent decorative element in gardens and parks, attracting attention with its beauty and resistance to unfavorable conditions.
