URALSKAYA USADBA is a mid-season, high-yield variety of root parsley intended for summer and autumn consumption. The leaf rosette is spreading and densely foliated, with dark green, medium-cut leaves. The rootstocks have a conical shape, are smooth, white in color, 20 to 30 cm long and up to 150 g in weight. The pulp is dense, juicy, with a pleasant slightly sweet aroma, ensuring excellent taste qualities and high aromaticity.
The variety is distinguished by high yield and high content of vitamins and mineral salts, which makes it valuable for home cooking. Parsley is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling, drying, freezing, and long-term storage. Thanks to the dense and juicy pulp, the rootstocks retain their properties under various processing methods.
Agrotechnology of growing includes sowing in several terms: at the end of April – beginning of May, at the end of June, and in October – November at a depth of 1-2 cm with a distance between rows of 20-30 cm. Sowing is recommended to be mulched with peat. Care of plants consists of two thinning sessions with 8-10 cm remaining between plants, feeding after thinning, timely watering, and weeding. Greens are cut as they grow, which allows obtaining fresh leaves throughout the season.
