Description CHEMCI
Chemci is an spicy hybrid pepper of the kimchi type, suitable for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground. The plant exhibits strong and vigorous growth, ensuring high yields. The hybrid is early-maturing: from mass seedlings to the first harvest, it takes about 95 days. The plant has a cup-shaped form with narrow, medium-length leaf blades, slightly wavy and wrinkled edges. The pedicel is semi-erect, and the fruits are narrowly conical with a pointed apex and medium glossiness.

Chemci fruits have a light green color at technical maturity and turn red at biological maturity. The average fruit weight ranges from 40 to 80 grams, wall thickness varies from 4 to 5 mm, and the number of chambers is 2-3. High capsaicin content makes this pepper particularly spicy, making it ideal for making ajika and other spicy dishes. Commercial yield reaches 2.8 kg per square meter.

The hybrid shows high resistance to powdery mildew and is also resistant to PVY, Tm, and Lt viruses, enhancing cultivation reliability and crop quality. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, Chemci is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain an early and abundant harvest of spicy peppers with excellent flavor.
