The Vendetta pepper variety is a medium-maturing hybrid primarily intended for cultivation in protected ground, although in warmer regions it can also be grown in open ground. The plant is semi-spreading, medium-height, reaching approximately 50-55 cm. The leaf blade is medium-sized, dark green with very slight wrinkling. The fruits have a narrowly conical, drooping shape with a glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are dark green, and in biological ripeness, they turn into a deep red.
The fruit mass is about 43 grams, with wall thickness varying from 1 to 2 mm, giving the fruits a delicate structure. The taste of the fruits is spicy, distinguishing Vendetta from sweet pepper varieties. The commercial yield of the hybrid reaches 2.6 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity of the variety. The plant requires abundant watering and optimal growing conditions, especially in plastic greenhouses.
The Vendetta variety is suitable for fresh consumption and can be used for canning. Seedlings should be sown in March, and transplanting into the ground — in May. Harvesting occurs from July to September. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid successfully grows in many regions, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
