The sweet pepper variety Solnyshko is a medium-maturing variety with an original round fruit shape, ideal for stuffing and canning. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of 35-50 cm, compact and resistant to certain diseases such as bacterial spot and viruses. Fruits weigh from 70 to 150 grams; in technical ripeness they are light green, and in biological ripeness they are bright yellow or orange-yellow. The wall thickness is 6-8 mm, ensuring juicy, tender flesh with thin skin and high flavor qualities. The Solnyshko variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant prefers sunny areas protected from wind and requires warm, humid conditions for optimal growth. Seed sowing is recommended in April-May to a depth of about 1 cm, and seedling transplanting is performed at 55-56 days old. The optimal planting scheme is 70x40 cm, with a density of 3 plants per 1 m² in covered ground and 30-45 thousand plants per hectare in open ground. The fruits of the Solnyshko pepper have high dry matter content, making them particularly suitable for processing. The average ripening period is 110-120 days to technical ripeness and about 160 days to biological ripeness. For maximum yield, fresh manure is not recommended, as it may reduce productivity.
