F1 CaraVella — main cucumber hybrid of the Relay class, pollinated by bees. Plants are predominantly female-flowering, with medium branching. Sex expression depends on growing conditions. In early stages of planting, to enhance female flowering, nighttime air temperature before flowering is maintained at a relatively low level (+17°C). Young fruits are large-buried, white-stemmed, intensely green, spindle-shaped, with sparse bump distribution. Fruit length is 15–23 cm, weight 160–250 g. The hybrid is resistant to cucumber mosaic virus and tolerant to root rot.
