The DUNYASHA pepper variety is a high-yielding, early-maturing variety recommended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The fruits of this variety are large, glossy, cream-white, weighing 150 to 200 grams. They are distinguished by high vitamin and mineral content, as well as excellent taste, making this pepper versatile in use.
For successful cultivation of the DUNYASHA variety, loamy, well-aerated soils are suitable. Good predecessors include cucumbers, cabbage, and grain-legume crops. Before sowing, seeds are recommended to be treated with potassium permanganate solution and thoroughly washed with clean water. Sowing for seedlings is carried out at the beginning of March, and pinching is performed at the stage of one to two true leaves. Seedlings are transplanted to their permanent location at the age of 70-80 days, after the threat of frost has passed, following a planting scheme of 50x35 or 60x40 cm.
For forming tall varieties, vertical trellises with two-stem pruning are used, whereas low-growing varieties are cultivated in stem form without support. Throughout the entire vegetative period, timely watering with warm water after sunset, regular weeding, soil loosening, and mineral fertilizer applications are necessary to ensure good growth and abundant fruiting.
